Ahmedabad: Apart from the direction by the State Ministry of Health to increase Covid testing on Saturday, the overall test remains around 45,000 to 55,000 – equal to last week’s average, despite increasing from 15,000 to 25,000 during the Diwali celebration.
Thus, the pioneering level of test (TPR) remains 0.06% – 6 cases found for every 10,000 tests performed.
On Sunday, only Vadodara (5,258), Ahmedabad (7,193) and a letter (9,873) recorded more than 5,000 daily tests because three districts contributed 49% of the daily test.
It was released from the claim by the state administration that all entry points included airports, train stations, bus depots and districts along with national borders having a medical team used for strict inspection of the population entered.
The last four-day analysis revealed that Ahmedabad reported 37 new cases from 19,236 tests, giving TPR 0.2% compared to the average state of 0.06% and against 0.05% letter because the district recorded 16 cases from 30,419.
Ahmedabad currently has 70 highest covid cases.
