Covid in Delhi: ICU 7K bed in 7 temporary hospitals

New Delhi: As part of the training of improving the health infrastructure the capital to fight the possibility of the third wave of Covid-19 cases, the Delhi government has started the process of making a semi-permanent Covid Hospital in seven locations that are different from nearly 7,000 ICU beds as a whole.

When this hospital is being arranged with eyes in the third wave of possible pandemic, the contractor must spread enough labor in three shifts to complete work within five months or be prepared to act on Delhi disaster management actions.
To save time, the building of multi-floors is proposed as a hollow or rectangular steel tube steel structure.
The structure will reinforce concrete cement rafts or isolated foundations, which will support the entire building.
The hospital ‘temporary’ ‘temporary’ will appear in the GTB hospital complex which is managed by the Delhi Government, which is likely to be a five-story structure spread over the area of ​​more than 6 hectares with 1,912 ICU beds.
The second largest facility in the case of the strength of the bed ICU will be a four-storey structure in Raghubir Nagar in West Delhi, which will be built on the nine acre plot and will boast 1,577 ICU beds.
Covid hospitals that will appear in Shalimar Bagh North Delhi will be a four-story structure with 1,430 beds.
Two Covid hospitals will appear nearby in the Kirari Northwest Delhi area, which will be a five-story structure with 458 beds and four-story structures in Sultanpuri with 525 beds.
Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya will get a five-story structure in a 2.3-acre plot nearby, which will have 596 pediatric ICU beds.
The relatively smaller Covid hospital will appear in Sarita Southern Delhi Vihar.
This will be a five-story structure with 336 ICU beds that will appear on a 2.7 hectare plot.
Although semi-permanent, this hospital will have an adequate common waiting area on all floors with adequate toilet facilities, bed lifts that can accommodate patient movements, stretchers, trolleys and equipment, allowance for waste treatment plants and rainwater harvest holes.
