Johnson & Johnson said on Thursday night that the only Covid-19 vaccine produced strong and persistent activities against Delta and other variants that were very common.
Data shows that the immune response resistance takes place for at least eight months, a health company word based in U.S., adds that the vaccine is 85% effective and can also help prevent hospitalization and death.
“The current data for the eight months studied so far shows that Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccines who are shot singingly produce a strong neutrestal antibody antibody response; but, we observe an increase from time to time,” Mathai’s research head, head , & Development on the J & J drug business, said in that statement.
The Covid-19 vaccine gave rise to antibody activity neutralizing the Delta variant, it was first identified in India, at a higher level than what was observed for the Beta variant, which was first detected in South Africa, the company said.
J & J has sent data as Prefrint to the Biorxiv website ahead of the peer review.
