Thiruvananthapuram: With a steady increase in the Covid-19 case in all the states, the Kerala government has decided to impose night hours since next week.
In a meeting chaired by the head of Pinarayi Vijayan, it was decided that night hours starting at 10pm to 6 in the morning will be placed from August 30.
CM also gets information that Sunday Lockdown will continue until further orders.
“In the area where the weekly infection population ratio is above seven percent, the government has decided to apply the kuncian.
From next week, there will be hours of night starting at 10pm to 6 in the morning.
The night hours have been issued for tomorrow,” Vijayan said At the press conference here.
The fresh case of Covid-19 crossed a 30,000 mark for fourth day in a row in the state on Saturday.
Since July 27, when the restrictions relaxed in the state for several days due to two festivals, the state has recorded more than or close to 20,000 cases almost every day.
