Kerala reported more than 20,000 fresh Covid-19 cases for the first time in four days, taking Indian daily calculations to six-day highs below 35,000 on Thursday.
India reported 34,671 new cases of Coronavirus (with tripura data not accepted until midnight), the highest daily calculation since 37,868 infections detected last Friday, according to the Covid Toi database.
Kerala’s kasing rose to 22,182, up from 17,681 the previous day.
The last country reported 20,000 daily cases on Sundays.
Although Spurt Thursday, the average two days of the Kerala daily case continued to decline, falling under 20,000 to 19,505.
This shows that cases in the country are still dipping.
Meanwhile, Mizoram reported 1,402 new cases, the third highest daily count recorded in the state in the midst of a surge in infection.
India recorded 318 deaths on Thursday, down from 375 the previous day.
Kerala reported 178 deaths, Maharashtra 45, Tamil Nadu 25, Karnataka 18 and Andhra 14.
