New Delhi: After Sunday Onam’s party, Kerala on Wednesday reported more than 31,445 new cases, the highest since May 20.
The positive level of the test (TRP) in the country reached 19 percent.
The last time Kerala passed the 30,000 mark on May 20 when reporting 30,491 cases.
Meanwhile, the toll road was installed until 19,972 with 215 new deaths.
Spike in Kerala comes after days of testing and detection are relatively low because of Onam.
The state reported less than 17,000 new daily cases for the past three days, despite the numbers before it was above 20,000.
Tally State almost equaled India’s count the previous day, when 24,733 cases were detected.
With increasing Covid-19 cases in the state, the Minister of Health Veena George said intensive filtration / testing program was launched to detect as soon as possible who was infected with Coronavirus and reduced the spread of further pandemics.
India on Wednesday reported 37,593 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours with Kerala contributing to the majority of 24,296 fresh infections.
