Due to an increase in the number of RT-PCR samples, the settlement time has increased from 24 hours to 48-72 hours or more.
According to sources, the laboratory in Patna received about five to eight times the number of samples per day to be tested, and the time between testing and the recipient’s results has increased.
Nearly 7,200 to 8,800 samples were tested on average every day in the state capital.

Manoj Kumar, supervisor of Gardiner Hospital, told this reporter that in the past four days, the number of RT-PCR samples collected has increased from 24-30 to 250-280 per day.

We have not received the results of hundreds of samples sent to the Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences (RMRI) in Patna for testing in the last three days.
