Mumbai: Covid’s death fell by almost 35% in the temporary state of the case of seeing a 44% decline in October during September.
October saw a few cases and deaths compared to the first nine months of this year.
With the addition of 1,172 cases on Sunday, the calculation of the Covid Country country for October reached 59,599.
This is the first since January that the Covid case did not cross the sign of one lakh in a month.
Maharashtra cumulative covid figure, ranging from March 2020 to October 31, now standing at 66.11,078.
Covid’s death reached a low of all time for October.
With the addition of 20 deaths on Sunday, victims of the country remained under 1,200 (1,149) in October.
It was a decline of 34% from September and 74% drop compared to August.
During its peak months in April, May and June, the country saw 13,835, 13,858 and 26,601 respectively.
The Covid incident did not see a significant decline in the city as seen in the state, pointing towards the possibility of infection moving towards endemicity here.
The city has 12,842 cases in October, slightly lower than 12,994 in September.
Compared to 133 deaths in September, there were 137 in October.
But in case, September and October saw higher cases than in August.
Death is higher in August (157).
