Coimbatore: Wildlife biologist K Ramkumar Reacted to Covid-19 in a private hospital at Mayiladuthurai district Tuesday.

He was 43.
He’s survived by spouse Sivaranjini and brothers Dheepthi Sangamitharai along with Magathi.
Supervisor and job head of Wildlife Trust of India’s Elephant Corridor Securement Project-South India, he’d aided the forest division recognize elephant corridors in the country.
He has been also actively engaged in conservation jobs in Western Ghats.
K Kalidasan, presidentOSAIsaid it was a terrific loss to this wildlife conservation.
“He had been a part of the group who recognized 108 elephant corridors in the nation.
He had been (OSAI) for the previous 16 decades and engaged in wildlife census” He explained Ramkumar had played a critical part in the instruction of elephant corridors from the nation which was printed as a book’Right of Passage’ along with the Job Elephant.
A resident of Sirkazhi city, Ramkumar had completed postgraduation in wildlife sciences at AVC College at Mayiladuthurai.
He’d done PhD in landscape of Coimbatore woods division, sea turtles, elephant corridors, elephant-human battle.
He was an authority in managing the geographical information system.
Kalidasan stated Ramkumar needed, along with the Wildlife Trust of India, played a Significant Role in regaining the elephant corridors in Wayanad in Kerala and also a Couple of areas in Karnataka.
“Ramkumar had seen Coimbatore per month ago and spoke together about elephant corridors.”
