New Delhi: Nearly 16 Crore Dosage Covid vaccine that was not dissolved available with the state and UTS until Saturday morning when vaccination dropped significantly on Sunday Diwali (October 30 November 5) after showing an increase in the previous two weeks, official data.
Maybe because Lull Festival, only a dose of 2.42 crore was given during the week ended November 5, almost half of the 4 doses of crore given the previous week (October 23-29).

Overall, total inoculation crosses 108 crore doses on Saturday with more than 78% of adult populations that meet the requirements covered with at least one dose of vaccine.
More than 36% of people over 18 years have been covered with second doses of vaccines.
While many people are late because of their second dose, the government has asked the state to streamline the process and identify individuals who are still not vaccinated or have not taken their second dose.
The center also runs a special campaign ‘Har Ghar Dastak’ with the aim of reaching the individual and overcoming problems that might hold them back.
Also has asked the country to reach parents and those who have mobility problems in their homes.
Earlier this week, PM Narendra Modi urged all health workers and district judges with low coverage to “knock every door” to ensure double dose vaccination on schedule.
He advised district judges to go to villages, regions and even households and find out people who are still not vaccinated or late for the second dose.
For the first dose, the center has asked the state to aim at all the populations that meet the requirements at the end of November.
