While many people are late because of their second dose, the government has asked the state to streamline the process and identify individuals who are still not vaccinated or have not taken their second dose.
The center also runs a special campaign ‘Har Ghar Dastak’ with the aim of reaching the individual and overcoming problems that might hold them back.

Earlier this week, PM Narendra Modi urged all health workers and district judges with low coverage to “knock every door” to ensure double dose vaccination on schedule.
He advised district judges to go to villages, regions and even households and find out people who are still not vaccinated or late for the second dose.
For the first dose, the center has asked the state to aim at all the populations that meet the requirements at the end of November.
