Mumbai: Covid Daily cases in the city have dropped for the past two days after registering 525 high on Wednesday.
It was 451 cases on Thursday and 425 on Friday.
Six deaths registered on Friday, took the victim to 16,116 so far.
In the state, the everyday case has lived below 3,200 for the past five days.
On Friday, the calculation is 3,105 cases and 50 deaths.
The number of critical cases in the city has continued to decline, from more than 400 a month ago to 264 on September 30.
Only 10.9% of the 16,000 covid beds occupied in the city, according to the BMC dashboard.
While 70,404 people are in quarantine houses now, BMC officials say the amount is high because 20 close contacts are positively tested and recommended quarantine, if needed.
Only 503 from the ICU bed 2,207 Covid is currently occupied.
Dr.
Rahul Pandit, member of the state government assignment unit, said the Covid situation seemed to be controlled despite the initial increase in the case after relaxation of restrictions.
Health Minister Rajesh Tope said the state had covered 65% of its population with at least one vaccine dose, and if it rose to 75%, it could move towards the flock immunity and the level of transmission, it would also go down.
