NAGPUR: Though cases and deaths continued the downward trend, district collectors across Vidarbha skipped the weekly Friday review and revision in the Covid-19 ‘break the chain’ relaxations.
This was the outcome of the new order issued by the state government considering the cases of Delta-plus variant found in some districts.
Following the directives of the state, all districts in Vidarbha are now taking cautious steps towards the unlock.
Akola was the first district to announce the comeback of the Level 3 restrictions in Vidarbha.
Now, all shops will be closed at 4pm daily, non-essential shops will remain closed on weekends, hotels restaurants will not be allowed to have consumers from 4pm onwards and on weekends, only take-away service will be allowed.
Marriage functions will be allowed in presence of 50 guests.
