Covid Orphans Can Get Free Edu at Government School: Delhi HC

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Thursday refused to direct the AAP government to pay the cost for orphans in Covid-19 registered in private schools, said students could get free education if they enroll in the government managed institution.
“Maybe far to ask them to pay fees, the government also has limitations,” said Justice Rekha Palli, hearing a request that is looking for compensation for families who have small children and have lost the ears of single bread because of oxygen.
Deficiency after being infected with Covid-19.
The request was submitted by Advocates Bharat Malhotra on behalf of a small brother, who lost their father because of lack of oxygen deficiency at the Golden Jaipur hospital during the second wave of Covid-19 in April-May.
Both children, through their mothers, have asked for compensation for the death of their unlimited father and can be prevented.
During hearing, Malhotra urged the court to provide assistance and ensure that there should be no kind of prejudice to the right of the applicant’s education at the respondent’s school because they did not pay fees.
He said the government could step up to pay costs, but the court showed that “free education cannot be in every school, they can provide free education in their schools.”
