Vadodara: It’s been two years ago that the city of Vadodara woke up with a terrible gangrapu from a 14 year old girl and it might be the first incident in a public place.
The trial in this case is almost complete and prosecution and defense will immediately produce their final statement and close the argument in this case.
“We crossed 45 witnesses in this case and none of them were hostile.
Each witness strengthened the statement they had given to the police.
We have presented a very strong case in court,” said Chauhan, ACP (Crime) Investigate the incident.
The police have produced witness statements including the girl’s parents, their friends who attended the place, a woman who passed, security guards and many others.
“We have also sent all medical evidence in court together with DNA reports.
The proof is fully resistant,” Chauhan Toi said.
The defendant was identified as Jaso Soarki and Kani Mathasalamya allegedly raped the little girl when she got out with her friend’s friend at the Navlakhi compound on November 28, 2019.
