Jaipur: Long queues of beneficiaries can be seen from the morning in the morning in vaccination centers throughout the state, because there are many in a hurry to take a shot to Covid.
However, some have to wait until the next day to get their first or second dose.
On Friday, the state received 6,36,150 doses.
The Department of Health authorities stated that they expected a good supply in the remaining 10 days a month.
On Friday, 3,07,780 people received Jab in various centers in all states.
Toi visited various early central days, where people looked queued to get a vaccine image since 5.30 in the morning.
“My second dose is due since August 16.
I came on Wednesday but could not get it.
Hopefully, I will get it today,” said Rauak Singh (19) who chased B.Tech and was seen in the queue at the vaccination center at Kanata Chauraha from Jhotwara.
Like Singh, there are some other people in the queue since 5.30 in the morning, even because they will find out about the availability of vaccines around 10am.
“Ab Lagwani to Hai Hai, Isliye Thoda Time Bhi Lage to Kya (we must still get a shot, so if it takes time to be good),” said Sushant Roy, a 45-year-old man near Vaishali Nagar vaccination.
Although the vaccine supply has been regularly in the past week, their number of second doses is very high.
“We have placed the requirements of almost 80 doses of lakh to the center of August.
Hopefully we will get it,” said an officer with the Ministry of Health.
Meanwhile, on Friday 3,07,780 people got Jab, where 2,22,120 got their first dose, while 85,660 got their second dose.
“Until now, 94,56,739 beneficiaries in this country have received a dose.
We have received 6,36,150 covishield doses which are now in the distribution process,” said Dr.
