Chennai: Most of the districts in this country reported a decline in the new Covid-19 case on Thursday when the country added 11, 993 new cases and 3 0 deaths on the registry.
However, weekly weekly participants are higher than the average state in at least 17 districts – seven of them are in Western belts.

On Thursday, Vellore (69), Sivaganga (83), and Mayiladuthurai (70) were the only districts to report more cases compared to their Wednesday counting.

New cases in Chennai fell to 1,751 and continued to report the highest number of cases in the state followed by Coimbatore (1,426), Chengalpet (1,097), and Tiruppur (1,017).
All other districts reported less than 1000 cases each.
With 30 additions, the scrambler reported a few new cases in the state followed by Tenkasi (52), Vellore (69) and Ramanathapuram (69).
Six other districts – Theni (98), Pulakottai (91), Kalakurichi (88), Sivaganga (83), Ariyalur (75) and Mayiladuthurai (70) reported fewer than 300 cases.
