Pune: 1,076 people recovered from Covid-19 in the Pune Metropolitan area (PMR) on Wednesday compared with 937 people who tested positive infections in the last 24 hours.
Daily tests increased to 34,631 on Wednesday, with sample testing in rural areas soaring to 18,759 in the last 24 hours.
Testing in the PMC and PCMC areas also increased by around 9,900 and 5,600.
Increased testing encourages the regional peposititiveness level to Wednesday to 2.7%.
A report by the district health office stated that the calculation of positive patients in the region increased to 10.95 lakh on Wednesday, while recovery reached 10.68 lakh.
Kasel Load Active PMR patients decreased to 7,663.
In addition, 12 more patients died in the region on Wednesday.
