Pune: The number of people who recovered from Covid-19 infection (755) exceeded new cases (728) after a five-day gap in the Pune Metropolitan area (PMR) on Monday.
Daily kasing-case drops into three digits following less sample testing on weekends.
According to the report released by the Heath Bhagwan Pawar District officer, 14,366 samples were tested in this region in the last 24 hours compared to the week counting of 20,050.
The pioneering level Monday in the region reached 5%.
This area has so far tested a sample of 55.54 lakh, including more than 26.55 lakh samples tested within the PMC limit.
Among new cases, rural areas and Cantonese added 386 patients, followed by the PCMC area (185) and PMC limit (157).
The PMC and PCMC areas record more recovery than new cases.
With this, the recovery count reached 10.21 lakh on Monday night, while the total case increased to 10.48 lakh.
As many as 55 patients died of infection in the region on Monday, including seven deaths from the PMC limit, three of the PCMC areas and five of the rural parts.
The death toll reached 17,834 on Monday night.
Calculate the active case reached 9,500 on Monday night, including 5,507 patients treated in various hospitals.
