Pune: The number of people who recovered from Covid-19 infection (1,276) continued to survive slightly above the new case (1,250) in the Pune Metropolitan area (PMR) on Thursday.
A report released by Bhagwan Bhagwan District Health Officers showed that the majority of the day recovery came from rural areas such as PMC and PCMC recorded fewer recovery than new cases.
The report stated that the PMC area added 331 new patients as against 253 recovery while the PCMC limit recorded 269 cases and dismissed 238.
With this, the total recovery of this region increased above 10.32 lakh reaching 10.60 lakh.
Twelve more patients died of Covid-19 infection in the region on Thursday.
These include eight deaths from PMC limits, three of the PCMC areas while one death from the rural part.
Kasel actively recorded a little drops but continued to stay above 10,000 in PMR on Thursday.
A total of 5,607 patients were treated in various hospitals, while 4,468 patients were in isolation of houses on Thursday night.
Of the total 10,075 patients were active in this region, 5,759 patients were in rural areas.
