BHUBANESWAR: Bibhuti Bhushan Patra, 50-year-old businessman along with many others in his household tested positive for Covid-19 in August this past year.
He also lost his dad to the deadly virus while his younger brother needed to be hospitalised because his condition deteriorated.
However, Covid altered his life forever.
“I have a lesson of my own life.
After recovering from this virus, then I chose to begin exercising regularly and keep my fitness as far as you can, which wasn’t a priority earlier.
Even physicians said those who have a sedentary lifestyle becoming infected or have complications.
Now I cycle to get 10-15 kilometers daily,” said Patra.
Like him, lots of folks who’ve recovered from Covid-19 are embracing healthy way of life and seeking to boost their immunity and keep healthy with routine workouts, yoga, biking, gardening and bringing in shift in eating habits.

Doctors said patients afflicted by Covid-19 should practice some sort of exercise based on the seriousness of the disease they’d, endurance and capacity.
“There are different groups of exercises and advice to mild, moderate and acute Covid patients.
Moderate and patients aren’t advised to begin demanding physical exercises promptly after recovering from the disease.
They ought to begin gradually with breathing and crunches.
