Covid restrictions on Pune must subside: Fadnivis

Pune: Restrictions because the Covid-19 pandemic in Pune must relax because they affect business and trade, the BJP leader Devendra Fadnivis said here on Saturday.
The trader community in the city and even shopping central employees have demanded that shops and other companies be allowed to remain open until 8pm.
“There should be a strict limit in cities where the level of infection is above five percent.
But for the past month, Pune’s pione level is under five percent.
The state government must relax restrictions.
The business has suffered losses,” Former Minister of Chief told reporters here.
Fadnavis, who visited the ongoing Metro construction work in the city, said that around 60 percent of the work had been completed.
“Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) functions is an important part of the Metro project …
Pune Metro has completed nearly 100 percent of TBM’s three works.
I hope that all work will be completed in time,” he said.
At Deputy Chairperson Minister Ajit Pawar marked the trial of the Kothrud Metro corridor, Fadniv said he did not mind that when the pawar was a CM representative and Minister Guardian Pune.
“But I hope the inauguration of the Metro Pune will take place in the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
I am sure that the pawar will agree with me,” he said.
Pune Municipal Corporation has also proposed the Neo Metro project too, Fadnivis said.
“We can get around 80 percent of funds for projects from the union government.
PMC must send proposals to the state government …
We will secure funds from the center,” he said.
About reports that Patil Chandrakan will be removed as head of BJP State, Fadniv says this is a baseless rumor and the party is happy with Patil’s work.
