Covid Scare: Legislator Moves from Session in Bellagavi

BELOGIVAVI: The threat of omicron variants from the Coronavirus novel seems to play in a sustainable legislative session in Bellagavi, with both houses that recorded a thin presence for the first two days.
Most legislators feel participating in the process is a big risk of considering the situation of the pandemic.
On the first day of the winter session on Monday, both houses only saw about 50% of attendance.
It dropped to 40% on Tuesday.
The 224-member Assembly saw 118 members (62 of BJP in power and 56 of the opposition) were present on Monday.
On Tuesday, the total decreased to 98.
Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri, the speaker of the Assembly, took the exception to empty benches because only 62 members were present during the first semester.
“It’s not right for the legislator to get away from the session,” said the speaker.
“I begged those who were still in their respective constituencies to attend the session.
We should not forget that we hold a session in the BELIGAVI after three years and in the midst of some challenges.
We have the responsibility to make it successful.” Ajay Singh, Head Congress, said 24 members from his party were present in the assembly when the house took the Movement of the condolences on Monday, and the number fell six in the afternoon when the opposition leader Siddaramaiiah initiated a debate on the loss due to excessive rain.
“There are two possible reasons,” Singh said.
“One of them clearly scare Covid, especially after the emergence of omicron variants.
The others are the announcement of the MLC polls on Tuesday.
We expect more members to attend a session from Wednesday.” He said his party was not an interesting member to attend a session, While also insisted that those who attended followed the appropriate behavior of Covid.
“Even though the belief that the symptoms when infected with Omicron will be lighter, there are cases of hospitalization.
Because the wave of the third infection has not been ruled out, we cannot force the legislator to attend the session,” said Singh.
There are many opposition with sessions detained in Besagavi from the start.
Senior Congress Legislator RV Deshpande and HK Patil has warned the government opposed to hold a session in the district after a cluster outbreak in neighboring Dharwad last month, while the State Secretariat’s employees sent official requests to hold a session in Bengaluru they now want the government to limit the 10th day of Sion to become one week.
“It would be wise to cut a short session,” Dish Pande said, who did not attend the process on the first two days.
Even BJP members want this session to be restricted.
“Someone must remember that the majority of the legislators are over 60 years,” Lahar Singh Siroya, BJP MLC.
“The port-port said Omicron did not set aside even fully vaccinated.
Houses must quickly complete the important process and end Sad Sion this weekend.”
