Ludhiana: Six residents of Ludhiana expired of Covid-19 and 223 tested positive about Monday.
As per the wellness division proverbial, 13 deaths were first reported daily.
Of them, eight patients were all of this district and one all Ropar, Moga, Barnala, Mansa and Jammu and Kashmir.
The district casualties contained a 75-year-old girl of Bajigar Basti, a 63-year-old guy of Payal, a 58-year-old girl of Model Town, also a 56-year-old guy of Sector 39, also a 44-year-old guy of Haibowal Kalan, a 40-year-old guy of Khanna, a 70-year-old guy of Kabir Nagar, Daba Road, plus a 45-year-old girl of Mundian Kalan.
Civil physician Dr Kiran Ahluwalia said that the district cost tally has risen to 1,999 and outsiders into 989.
Up to now, 13,70,569 persons are examined.
As many as 19 individuals from external Ludhiana too tested positive here.
