Hyderabad: Telangana on Wednesday recording 482 new cases of Covid-19 and two deaths again because the number of active cases reached 8,137.
Karimnagar, with 61 new cases, continues to record the highest number of cases among other districts while Greater Hyderabad recorded 82 cases on Wednesday.
The state has witnessed more than 6.5 lakh cases and 3,833 deaths since last year’s pandemic outbreak.
Countries currently have 25 active detention zones with Jagtial Regency, Karimnagar and Nalgonda still take into account the majority of these zones.
455 patients were declared recovered on Wednesday, taking total recovery in the state to 6,38,865.
The case fatality rate (CFR) stood at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate remained stable at 98.16 percent.
So far 79.9 percent of the overall cases in this country have been asymptomatic.
On Wednesday, 88,164 samples were tested for Covid-19.
Telangana has now completed the testing of 2.3 crore samples and has reached 6.2 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The neighboring district of Hyderabad Rangeddy, Medchal-Malkajiriri, and Sangareddy saw 25, 23, and six new cases.
