Covid Spike: Religious Meeting under the Scanner

Mangaluru: With the states of the state that attracts weeks of weekends, the administrative district of Dakshina Kannada prepares to prevent religious and other meetings.

Therefore, officials have been directed to take the necessary steps to prevent the spread of the virus, following the guidelines in accordance with the 2005 disaster management Act, “said Rajendra, who is also the Chairman of the District Disaster Management Authority.
“Individuals, Forums, Communities, Organizations, Institutions, Residential and Other Welfare Associations will be punished under 51 to 60 of the Law and Disaster Management Section 4, 5 and 10 of Karnataka Act 2020 epidemic, and part 188 of the IPC, if They were found violating Covid-19 guidelines.
Officials must monitor their respective regions to prevent violations.
Disciplinary actions will begin with officials who fail to act in accordance with government guidelines, “said Rajendra.
