New Delhi: Delhi government school teachers are being donated to deal with stress and trauma caused by the second wave before they are connected with students.
“The second Covid-19 wave has affected almost everyone in this country.
In Delhi, April and may be very severe.
In this situation, it is possible that our teachers and students have also faced deep trauma.
It is needed that they are given time to share sadness and re-connected each other before switching to regular work.
Our teacher must start reconnecting with their students immediately.
But before that, they must be prepared to not only overcome their sadness and stress, but also ready emotionally to support their students, ” said a round issued by the Directorate of Education.
As part of a plan, Delhi has involved a professional counselor of the first children to work with Mentor teachers and help them process their emotions and provide space to engage with their peers.
Now, the Mentor teacher conducts the same welfare workshop as the development of teachers and coordinators of happiness from their given schools.
Schools have been directed to carry out such workshops and finish it on July 10.
