PATNA: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Wednesday wrote a letter for his Sikkim counterpart Prem Singh Tamang, asking him to discharge the entire body of a Kishanganj resident Covid-19 individual who expired in Gangtok on May 24. “I’ve been advised that Nurul Huda, son of Md Nazim, resident of Dubanochi village beneath Pothia cube of Kishanganj district (Bihar) expired in Gangtok (Sikkim) on May 24 due to Covid-19 associated complications. Late Huda’s relatives wish to bring his own body with their native area at Kishanganj for its final rites according to their habits,” Nitish stated in his letter addressed to Tamang. “Kishanganj district government had requested Gangtok district government on May 24 to deliver the human body for his or her relatives. However, this request hasn’t yet been accepted thus far. It’s very important that the rights of the dead along with his family are respected and they’re permitted to do the final rites according to their traditions,” Nitish stated in the correspondence. Bihar CM further asked Tamang to look into the issue and ease early launch of human anatomy of overdue Huda to his household .
