Covid surge in Kerala: k’taka to increase testing in Borders

Bengaluru: Head of the Karnataka Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Friday said that the state government was careful about the situation after the increase in the Covid-19 case in Kerala.
“There has been a bursts of Covid cases in Kerala and we have three border districts.
The state government will increase testing, track and track more emphasis in the border district of MySuru, Kodagu, Chamarajnagar, Dakshina Kannada,” said Bommai.
He added that the deputy commissioner had been told to be alert and made tight steps.
“They were asked to prepare medical facilities.
I will hold a detailed meeting about this problem when I will return,” said Bommai.
CM arrived at Delhi airport on Friday morning to attend a meeting scheduled with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
