Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 405 new Covid-19 cases and three deaths on Monday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 7,093.
The total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year stood at 6,52,785 and the death toll was at 3,845.
The number of active detention zones in the country stands in 20.
Jagiyal, Karimnagar and Nalgonda have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
577 patients were declared recovered on Monday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.41,847.
The case fatality rate (CFR) stood at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reached 98.32 percent now.
So far 79.8 percent of the overall cases in the country have asymptomatic while 20.2 percent have symptomatic.
On Monday, 84,262 samples were tested for the novel Coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed a sample of 2.34 crore samples and has reached 6.30 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 67 cases on Monday, while Medchal Malkajiriri neighbor recorded 24 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 19 and Sanga Reddy recorded 2 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar recorded the highest number of cases with 32 new cases recorded on Sunday while Jangaon, Peddapalli, Yadadri Bhongir, Warangal Urban and Khammam saw more cases.
