Bhubaneswar: The State Health Authority on Wednesday said the Test Institution (TPR) of Odisha in terms of Covid infection remains almost consistent even two weeks after Dussehra, unlike Kerala, where daily infections rose to a worrying pongal.
Following the pongal in August, Kerala had to deal with the revival of an aggressive virus.
Daily infection counts crossing 10,000.
In Odisha too, the government is worried that Tally Covid Daily will rise Post Dussehra.
But that does not happen with the remaining daily infections between 400 and 500 cases.
For three days after the festival, the daily calculation remained between 300 and 400.
On Wednesday, while Deogarh recorded TPR above one percent, Khurda TPR shots exceeded two percent.
Nineteen districts recorded TPR under one percent and seven districts reported Zero TPR without fresh covid infection.
“Our country has seen a consistent graph for more than three months.
After Dussehra, we think the case will rise slightly.
But following the trends there August and September too,” said Director, Health Services, Bijay Mohapatra, Bijay Mohapatra, Bijay Mohapatra.
He added oscillation of the number of infections and TPRs had a pattern in the last three months, and there were no changes in Post Dussehra.
“We have said that vaccination people, flocks of immunity through natural infections and citizenship government during celebration, especially in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, helps maintain the number of viruses under the check.
Many say Dussehra will bring the third wave but it hasn’t happened so far,” Add Mohapatra.
TPR remains between 0.40 and 0.70 percent, he said.
The country on Wednesday added 549 cases, which, the Khurda section was 296.
