Patna: Minister of Justice (CM) Nitish Kumar on Saturday requested a health department official to ensure the Covid-19 test everyone came to Bihar from other countries during the Diwali and Chhath festivals.
Given the meeting to review the function of the Ministry of Health, Nitish asked officials concerned to maintain special alertness to people who arrived from other countries in all train stations, bus stands and border checkpoints between states and also made arrangements for Covid-19 .

“If people who reach Bihar are not found vaccinated, they must be investigated,” Nitish to officials.
“The native of Bihar who lives in other countries must be informed through different media to bring their vaccination certificate and RT-PCR test reports during the trip,” he added.
CM also requested officials to ensure the initial vaccination of people left in the state.
“Vaccination of all people who cannot get JAB because of aadhaar card’s illness by using other documents for identification purposes,” Nitish said.
He also emphasized the need to increase the number of Covid-19 tests in the state.
Secretary of the Additional Chief (Health) Pratyaya Amrit made a detailed presentation before CM on work was done to examine various diseases, including Covid-19.
Amrit told CM that the Covid vaccination drive would be intensified before Chhath.
He said the Ministry of Health would arrange a door-to-door campaign on October 18, 19 and 20 to motivate people to take their second vaccine dose.
He said that recently conducted a survey in the East Chamaran district and found 96% of people vaccinated there.
