Chennai: People from different streets of life have contributed to RS 353 Crore to the Tamil Nadu Minister’s Minister of Assistance to help the government maintain its efforts to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic.
From RS 353 Crore, the government has spent Rs 164.50 Crore to get medical liquid oxygen, remdesivir and drugs save other souls and to increase medical infrastructure to overcome the second wave of pandemic, minister’s head on Tuesday.
The government has allocated Rs 100 Crore to take precautions to overcome the third wave of pandemic, he added.
