New Delhi: The government tends to begin to vaccinate children against Covid-19 next month, the Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said in the BJP parliamentary party held on Tuesday, Ani’s news agency reported.
This was after the center told the Delhi High Court earlier this month that the Covid vaccine can be immediately available for children between the ages of 12 and 18 years and the policy to vaccinate them will be formulated after obtaining approval.
It also broadly speculates that the impact of the third possible wave in children is likely to be higher than the first or second wave.
And, the absence of vaccines for children adds to misery.
“The court for Zydus Cadila vaccine is almost complete.
In July-end or in August, we might be able to start giving this vaccine to children from the age group 12-18,” Dr.
NK Arora, Chair of the Covid-19 working group from the Advisory Group National technical about immunization (Ntagi), said recently.
The government has also told the Supreme Court recently that the vaccine developed by Zydus Cadila will soon be available for children aged 12 years and over with the License License.
Zydus Cadila is likely to be able to apply to the drug controller General India for emergency use permits for the vaccine of Zycov-D, which it claims to be given to adults and children.
