Lucknow: The trend decreased the average daily Covid vaccination in Lucknow which began in October continued in November.
In fact, because of the low description, the rate in November so far is 50% less than September, leaving health workers worried because at the current speed, the target is fully vaccinating all adult populations at the end of December or the first week of the week will be postponed.
State capital witnessed a steady increase in daily vaccination since it was launched in January to September.
At an average of 38,018 people took Jab every day in September, which decreased to 22,336 in October and November had witnessed an average of 15,600 inoculation per day so far.
Lucknow adult population is 37.4 lakh.
Of these, 17 lakh (45%) has been fully vaccinated with two doses so far, while 15.3 lakh (41%) has received a shot and is waiting for the gap period to get the second.
About 3.1 lakh (8.2%) individuals have not received a dose so far.
This means the Ministry of Health still has to manage 22 more doses – 15.3 lakh for those who are waiting for the second dose and 6.2 lakh who have not taken any dose – to cover everyone with two dose courses.
With the current vaccination rate, it will take at least 140 days (until April first week) to fully vaccinate every adult with a two-dose course.
Previously, based on the September level, estimation was that this target would be achieved in January the first week.
District immunization officer Dr.
MK Singh said, “We witnessed stagnation after covering a large number of people.
Those who have taken the first dose will take the second after the 12-16 week gap period between two shots.
However, the problem of worries is the amount that has not been developed to take Whatever dose.
These people, apparently, are those who have health problems or hesitate for some reason or other.
“” We will start the door-todoor campaign, especially in rural areas, immediately eliminate myths and manage shots to those who have been Abandoned so far, “he added.
