They reserved eight totos to get a trip to the island when dropping the aid things in front of a pair of villagers.
Individuals also have used and ripped clothes which are unwearable,” said Sheikh Monirul, a Mousuni villager.

We also have deployed a special group in any way of the notable ghats to educate people not to mess plastic waste from the Sunderbans and restrict the amount of participants going for supply,” stated P Ulaganathan, ” the South 24 Parganas’s district magistrate.
Last week, the chief minister Mamata Banerjee had urged the NGOs to function in communicating with the district government when distributing relief items.
“Many NGOs strategy us and we direct them to the appropriate villages and islands.
Just a couple violate protocols which cause all of the trouble,” that the DM said.
Indrajit Basu, added superintendent of Baruipur police department, stated”The manner plastic bottles along with thermocol plates are drifting in Sunderbans ponds is very worrying.
Some have even drifted deep to the center regions of the woods.
