Lucknow: Following a surge in case, the district administration on Saturday instructed all government-district hospitals and medical education institutions assisted by the government in Lucknow to activate Covid Wards from Sunday and so on.
It also canceled the leaves of all medical and administrative staff.
The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Abhishek Prakash District Judge and was attended by other senior officers, including Lucknow’s medical head.
“ICCC has been ordered to work 24×7.
Next, the fast response team and supervision team will multiply and deployed for contact searches,” DM said.
The area from which most cases have been reported will be stored in the ‘Red Zone’.
The patient’s home will be converted into a mini detention zone.
LMC has been directed to increase sanitization in the city, he added.
