Panaji: With 93 people lost life to Covid-19 in July compared with 405 deaths in June, Covid mortality fell 77% in a month.
At the peak of the second wave, 1,482 deaths were reported in May.
The state mortality count is now in 3,148 with one death report on Sunday.

He complained of symptoms three days earlier and reportedly did not have comorbidity.
On Sundays, the number of daily infections fell to 59, the lowest reported in almost five months.
The last time the daily infection in the 50s was on March 8 when 54 cases were detected.
Samples tested on Sunday are also lower than on Saturday with the level of front of 1.6%.
The North Goa weekly front pace (25 to 31) was 3.1%, higher than South Goa, which was 2.5%.
In northern cave, 53% of positive cases were detected through a rapid testing of antigens, while in South Goa, it was 71%.
The rest is detected using a standard RT-PCR test.
