Bengaluru: Exceptions of the Covishield, Vaksin Covid-19 AstraZeneca produced by the Indian Pune Serum Institute, from the European Union ‘Green Pass’ has left hundreds of students and professionals who work hard and helpless.
While Vaxzervia AstraZeneca is one of the four vaccines recognized by the European Medicine Agency (EMA), the same vaccine produced in India and distributed with the name Covishield has not been approved.
The majority of more than 2,000 students and professionals who work, which made themselves stopped with the covishield in a special camp, anxiously waiting and hoping that EMA would approve the Covishield SII.
Students who plan to pursue their education abroad must immediately travel since the academic year for many universities began in August / September.
The lack of EMA’s agreement is the latest in a series of students and foreign bound professionals must deal with.
While the concern of a month ago was a lack of dosage, the state government came to save by prioritizing students and foreign workers and investigating them.
Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin comes out of the question because it is not approved by the World Health Organization, so students who are bound by foreigners specifically choose covishield.
The next obstacle for them does not get a vaccine certificate.
However, the government again ensures that wrinkles are also reduced.
Now it still has to be seen how the government resolves this fresh problem.
Surabhi Kumar, who hopes to start a higher study in the Netherlands, said that confusion adds uncertainty.
“We are anxious about our travel plans, loans, remain safe from Covid-19 and other things.
Now, this is an additional surprise,” he said.
