Surat: Six individuals were arrested Sunday for allegedly operating more than a rabbit vigilante who attempted to prevent them from supposedly transporting cows at a truck to the federal highway-48 near Dungri at Valsad district.
Police stated that the 10 detainees out of Bhiwandi from Maharashtra and also Valsad were nabbed after analysis of the street accident which murdered cow vigilante Hardik Kanara if he had been attempting to halt a cattle-laden truck on June 18 Kansara had blocked the street to nab the vehicle driver since he had obtained advice that cows were sent to Maharashtra.
The truck driver, but conducted Kansara killing him on the spot and fled leaving his car behind.
Police stated that 10 cows and a bull have been discovered from the vehicle.
A police officer said that distinct teams were made to mimic the truck driver along with many others that had been supposedly engaged in the illegal transaction.
Through the investigation, cops discovered Asgar alias Makiya Ansari, Javed Sheikh, Khalil Sheikh along with Jamil Sheikh by Bhiwandi and Ansar Sheikh, Ali Murad Alisar, Dharmesh Ahir, Kamlesh Ahir, Jayesh Ahir along with Hasan Alisar by Valsad.
Cops stated they were included with the illegal exchange of cows and hauling them to Maharashtra in Valsad.
Ansar used to get the cows for Rs 5,000 to Rs 6,000 and market them to Jamil for Rs 7,000 to Rs 8,000.
