Prayagraj: Waiting for a teenager to get a Covid vaccine ended as a registration on the Cowin portal for the booking slot in the vaccination centers of their choice on Saturday.
Registration mode is the same as before.
The Department of Medicine and Health Prasagraj has set a target to vaccinate 4.17 lakh teenagers between 15 and 18 years in the district.
Teenagers have been waiting for vaccinated since vaccination began on January 16, 2020.
District immunization officers, Prasagraj, Dr.
Teutsh Lal said that 4.17 teenagers of Lakh aged between 15 and 18 years will be vaccinated based on a list of school managers and madrasas.
“From Saturday, people in the 15-18 year age group can register on the Cowin portal,” he added.
Dr.
Lal said that teenagers will be given a covaxin and a separate vaccine request has been placed with the government for this.
The Department of Medicine and Health Health has made special arrangements for teen vaccinations.
“For vaccination, 20 public and primary health centers (CHCS and PHC) and 10 hospitals have been selected in the city.
This includes MLN Medical College, SRN Hospital, TB Hospital, Tej Bahadur Hospital Sapru (Buy), Mord Hospital Eye , Moti Division Hospital Lal Nehru (Colvin), Dufferin Hospital, a train hospital, Homoeopathic Medical College, Naini and near Allahabad High Court, “Dr.

Officials said that the target to vaccinate 6,000 people fell in 15 to 18 years, per day had been set for the district.
“Each of the 30 centers has been instructed to target a minimum vaccination of 200 individuals per day as part of this exercise,” he added.
