Nagpur: Amitesh Kumar City Police Chief has banned all types of crackers except those with labels of ‘green’ according to the direction of the National Green Court and the Supreme Court.
The top police have issued a notification under the criminal code Proced 144 prohibiting the use of regular crackers except between 8pm and 10 nights.
Kumar has formed a special action team for surprise checks and raids in cracker stores.
