Nagpur: Police Commissioner with Aswati Dorje on Tuesday issued orders under the CRPC part 144, prohibiting the use of crackers in several places during the upcoming celebration season.
Dorje’s order declared crackers could not explode in a distance of 200 meters of gas stations, gas cylinder outlets, kerosene depots, cracker stores, outlets for chemical depots and so on.
Crackers are also not permitted within 200 meters of schools, colleges, hospitals and courts that are also designated as a silent zone.
Flying lanterns have been banned too.
