Nagpur: Amitesh Kumar City Police Chief on Monday issued instructions to reopen 76 cases registered against the sand mafia last year and investigated with those currently in an investigation.
The police have seized material worth more than RS4 Crore in 76 cases.
Kumar, who also took a review of 22 cases delayed on Monday, said that the overall probe would be carried out for traces and Nexuses links from the sand mafia with other different groups and their support systems.
“Taking a fresher look, the relationship between now and past cases and the defendant will be examined and confirmed.
The investigation will be quickly tracked with more technical support, “CP said.
In January, the crime branch had broken the racket operating from Madhya Pradesh where falsely passed the e-transit issued for sand mafia in Nagpur Regency.
About six people, including the e-transit operator passed the racket Rahul Khanna from Bhopal, has been captured so far.
Kumar said that officials were conducted a detailed review of 22 cases delayed to ensure the status of the investigation.
“Investigations were analyzed by cases including as old as a few years behind, such as unresolved kidnappings from SUJAL Wasnik Nine years, with the latest such as piercing from a woman and opened fire on a farmhouse around the police still did not understand,” Kumar said.
“It has come for the future that stabbing victims are naming neighbors but technical evidence does not support this,” said CP and added that the team had been pressed into the action to solve the shooting case in the farmer’s camptee last week.
For the police said the case was studied including those who were against a leading doctor and hospital.
The investigation into the murder of a senior citizen at Mancapur was also being analyzed.
“We expect to be near the logical conclusion,” Top Police said.
The investigative study meeting also revolved to investigate in half a dozen cases against the Sirih trader with more than RS 6.73 Crore confiscated in the past one-and-half months.
“The aim is to expose illegality in trade and network,” said the top of the police.

CP Amitesh Kumar said the police would record the report of the person concerned to verify their claims.
