CP sends a proposal for All-Womer Police Station to State Govt

Nagpur: City Police Chief (CP) Amitesh Kumar has sent a proposal to the state government who seek approval for all women’s police stations, with around 246 staff.
During his visit last week, the Interior Minister Walse Walse Patil had instructed the police unit to reflect on the opening of the police station exclusively for women and women.
Kumar also contemplated opening four units of ‘Bharosa Cell’ in different places in the city, in the background of more than 1,000 domestic disputes referred to the police department every year.
The top police have taken several steps to extinguish crimes in the city, especially murder.
“Although the number of murders did not rise in 2021, around 65% of cases, the perpetrators were family members, friends or acquaintances.
Only 35% of rivals or unknown people,” said CP.
Kumar has told senior officers to pay more attention to cases of domestic violence and marital disputes.
He also shared statistics that stated 20% of all murders carried out from within the family.
Statistics show that 16 murders have occurred due to old competition, while as much as being done on affairs of love and relationship relationships.
About 21 murders occurred on ‘trivial problems’ and 15 for monetary reasons.
In other sizes, CP urged supervisory level officers to extend special support for four senior police offices on charges who were women.
Kumar said the Nagpur police recorded 51 arrests this year with strict Maharashtra prevention of malicious activities (MPDA), the highest in the state.
According to the records distributed by Kumar, the city police registered the highest number of cases under ACT Act (690 to September), the Narcotics Act (216, with 286 arrested until September) and returned valuable goods worth RS21.42 Crore, after detecting cases and Recovery of stolen material.
The Narcotics SPL drive was launched, 66 Nabbed So Far City Police have registered 51 cases and arrested 66 people so far in narcotics law during a special drive starting on Monday.
About 46 people were ordered to consume drugs and the rest were arrested for peddling them.
City police have issued a special telephone number 9422942100, appealing to citizens to share information about narcotics.
