Jammu: Search operations for pilots and second debris after the helicopter crash on Ranjit Sagar Dam on August 3 was in full swing, a Army spokesman said on Monday.
Special Forces Command along with the Indian Navy is carrying out continuous diving in the area.
A large floating platform has been made from which all dive operations are launched.
“Various institutions such as NDRF, civilian experts and dam authorities have also been included in the search operation.
India Navy continuously occurs and increases the equipment used for search and rescue operations,” said a defense spokesman, Jammu, Lieutenant Col.
Anand Devender.
Earlier on August 15, shared rescue and the Army search team, the Navy, the submarine rescue unit, NDRF and the police have traced the body of one of the missing pilots, Lieutenant Col.
