Berlin: German lawmaker debated Friday bills that needed staff in hospitals and nursing homes to be vaccinated against Corenavirus or at risk of losing their work.
Health Minister Karl Lauterbach told parliament that it could not be done by some people who worked with vulnerable people still not vaccinated.
The bill, which is being traced quickly and is likely to pass, is the first of two vaccine mandates considered in Germany.
The second more controversial bill will make Covid-19 Shots mandatory for all being prepared and can be debated by the parliament next month.
