Patna: CM Nith Kumar on Friday asked health officials to make arrangements for omicron variant testing in the state as early as possible so that people can be detected immediately and their care can begin on time.
At a review meeting on the Covid-19 situation, Nitish said because Bihar had an increasing trend in the case of Covid-19 in the past two to three days, officials must maintain alertness.
Previously, he told the media The State would make the settings needed for the genome sequencing to get a quick report about the Omicron variant.
“At present, samples are sent to Delhi for genome sequencing.
It consumes time,” Nitish said.
When asked about the possibility of continuing classes online in schools after rising trends in the Covid-19 case, Nitish said, “The situation in Bihar is not so bad.
We will assess the situation and, if necessary, take a decision about this problem.” After receiving feedback Back from officials at review meetings, CM asked them to do all the settings needed in all medical and hospital colleges, along with district hospitals and sub-divisions, to meet the challenges posed by the third wave of Covid.
“In addition to ensuring oxygen availability and adequate medicines, save the medical team and technicians in all hospitals in warning mode,” Nitish said.
He expressed happiness to give 10 doses of crore vaccines in the state.
“Because I have been told, 10 crore doses of the Covid-19 vaccine are given in the state to this day.
This is a big happiness problem for all of us,” he said.
Previously, the additional Secretary of the Head (Health) Pratyaya Amrit, through the presentation, told CM about the preparation made by the Ministry of Health to load the virus.
He also informed CM about testing reports and keposititants in Bihar for the last 8 days.
Amrit informs CM which is in accordance with its instructions, the Covid medical kit will be sent at the door by postonal speed post for patients with isolated at home.
All information about the use of drugs and preventive measures that patients will be taken during house isolation, will also be printed on medical kits, he said.
