New Delhi: The worrying hazard of a serious fire at Nehru Place Complex was shown by Delhi Fire Service, the Delhi High Court on Thursday ordered a separate lane for emergency vehicles.
“Respondents are directed to accommodate paths for emergency services so that the fire brigade and ambulance can reach the earliest Nehru place without obstacles / obstruction.
DCP (traffic) will ensure that the path is not interrupted and always free for movement for firefighters and ambulances,” A Judge Judge Manmohan and Navin Chawla were ordered.
The bench also directs the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), Delhi Police and South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) to ensure that the recommendations / suggestions given to the court by fire services “are implemented earliest.” During the trial, the bench was examining each of the main fields marked by fire services after the training was carried out recently in Nehru Place.
On the need to make the snack area free, SDMC told the court that even though the specific area described for Hawking, the vendors were spread throughout the complex.
SDMC also told the court that only 95 vendors had temporary orders in their assistance from the Supreme Court and the High Court.
The majority of snack traders do not comply with Teabazari provisions / sellers’ conditions, Civic’s body claims.
“The court directed the SDMC police, DDA and Delhi to ensure that there were no individuals or entities other than the 95 Hawks vendors in and around Nehru Place.
Even the identity of 95 vendors must be verified and respondents must ensure that the vendor obeys the Teasbazari / Vending conditions and conditions, “Bench orders.
It also decided to make a list of delayed cases involving 33 vendors before it along with some disgusted petitions.
The bench that was ordered by advocates appeared for civil agents, such as DDA, SDMC, Delhi police, and Chief Engineer projects, additional CP (traffic), additional CP CP, southeast and deputy commissioner, center zone “to visit Nehru Place in two weeks Next on mutually comfortable date and time and submit a status report.

In a report sent to the High Court and DDA, fire services said hundreds of shop owners, vendors and large businesses were deadly risk because even rescue vehicles could only access the outside of the market.
Fire services recommend urgent steps such as parking prohibits on the roadside and free the merchant market.
It also suggests roads for emergency vehicles.
