Create World Class Delhi Varsity Sports, Sisodia said

New Delhi: The design layout of the University of Sport Delhi was reviewed by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and the Ministry of Public Works of Satyendar Jain on Thursday.
Sisodia, also the Minister of Education Delhi, instructed officers to visualize the daily routine of a sportsman when building a university.
“For sportsmen, the stadium is their world and they really enjoy training facilities for improving performance.
They live a very disciplined hermit life.
Such a routine is very important for every sportsman to win a medal at the highest competition, including the Olympics,” Minister said , “Our goal is to create a university that makes the nation proud of producing athletes winning medals, by providing training facilities and advanced sports infrastructure.” Jain said Delhi Sports University will be an institution that is equivalent to other world-class sports universities.
